A Walk Through Himalayan Foothills 13 Days / 12 Nights

Delhi, Kathgodam, Binsar, Corbett

This journey provides an insight into the culture and scenic beauty of this little visited region, with leisurely walks along the foothills of the Himalaya.

Day 1 – Delhi Arrive and transfer to the hotel.
Day 2 – To Kathgodam Tour of Old Delhi. Overnight train to Kathgodam.
Day 3 – Kalmatia Sangam Proceed to Kalmatia Sangam Himalaya Resort for a stay of 2 nights.
Day 4 – To Binsar Trek to Binsar.
Days 5-7 – Village trek Trek to the villages of Deora, Paliu and Jawalbanj and stay each night in a local village house.
Day 8 – To Kalmatia Sangam A two-hour descent, ending at the Jageshwar temple complex. Continue to Kalmatia Sangam Himalaya Resort for a stay of 2 nights.
Day 9 – Kalmatia Sangam Day at leisure.
Day 10 – To Corbett Drive to Corbett National Park for a stay of 2 nights.
Day 11 – Corbett Wildlife viewing.
Day 12 – To Delhi Drive to Delhi and stay overnight.
Day 13 – Depart Delhi.
